The Avengers: The famous film star Carla Berotti's stand-in is murdered, and microfilm of the Dew Line - the early-warning system in North America - has been stolen. The film star proceeds to Montreal on a luxury liner. Dr King is assigned as her personal doctor, and Steed goes under cover as a steward while they attempt to find the microfilm.
